Abstract
This workshop explores the Chinese fairy tales, myths, and modern psychopathology from a Jungian perspective, bridging traditional analytical frameworks with cultural imagery of Chinese fairy tales and mythologies. The programme involves fundamental Jungian concepts to practical group work, and clinical discussions.
About the speakers
Brigit Soubrouillard
Brigit is a clinical psychologist based in France. She holds a doctorate in Clinical Psychology f rom the Pacif ica Graduate Institute in California. She subsequently studied in Zurich and graduated from the double Adult and Child program in 1996. She has worked in private practice for over 30 years with patients from many cultures, and has also a long experience in a child psychiatry clinic. She has been a supervisor and senior analyst for 20 years teaching and lecturing in a number of Jungian institutes in Europe and outside Europe.
She was the President of the French Jungian Society, and is now serving on the Executive Committee of the IAAP. She is also IAAP’s Liaison Person for HKIAP.

Lee Ming Chung, Marshall
Marshall Lee is a psychiatrist based in Hong Kong. He is a Jungian analyst with interest in exploring the cultural unconscious through folktales and literature. He held reading group and retreat on the Red Chamber Dreams, Romance of the West Chamber to explore the eros in Chinese cultural context. He runs a Cantonese podcast "Dr. Marshall Podcast" on child and adolescent psychological development as a means to engage with the wider professional circle and the public in psychological reflection of our daily life challenges. He served as the past president of the Hong Kong Institute of Analytical Psychology (HKIAP) from 2017-2021 and is a member of the board of director of the HKIAP.
